Man, I had to rewatch a couple of scenes from the first season to check whether this show was ever good or if I was just an easier-to-please individual. Thankfully, that first season was a lot better than what the show turned into following the season 3 finale. I'm not going to go into details because there's just SO MUCH wrong with the last two seasons of the show: unfinished plotlines, egregious inconsistencies, brutal budget cuts, entire episodes dedicated to setting up spin-offs, repetitive edgy shallow humor, etc., etc. It's rapidly become the exact thing it was satirizing, and it's just so disappointing. In the last two seasons there's only a couple of things to commend, really: occasionally pinpoint-accurate satire, some fantastic performances specifically by Chace Crawford and Antony Starr, and... well, that's it really. Some of the jokes land here and there...
