Wild? I was absolutely livid Here we have yet another pseudo or meta film about Elvis, except this time Elvis a talented writer rather than performer. The slight twist this time is that Elvis is a failure rather than the success we all know. As is this is a more serious attempt at an Elvis film, what it has in competency it lacks in any sort of charm. The plot is much like a tailor at nudist camp, threadbare. Elvis is a young man who does a crime and is subsequently court ordered to live with his uncle and go to therapy. Therapist tells him he has potential as a writer, and there's a sort of love triangle between Elvis and his therapist, and Elvis and his cousin. Yes you read that last bit correctly, and no I have no idea why incest is a semi regular occurrence in these movies. Irregardless, that's not enough plot to sustain a two hour movie.
