A Jason Statham Christmas movie Wild Card is one of the more 'artisitic' entries into Jason Statham's back catalogue. Typically with a Statham film one expects cockney grunting, fluid fight sequences, some over the top sequence and/or plot and some homoeroticism. With this film however, there's a much more grounded story and style present. The plot follows Nick Wild (played by Statham), a gambling addict in Las Vegas that pays for his addiction by doing odd jobs, mostly bodyguard work. Wild attempts to leave Las Vegas after an entanglement with the mob. The film is also set over Christmas. On that last point in particular, since it's become an annual tradition for everyone to debate what is and isn't a Christmas movie, I humbly want to submit Wild Card as a valid Christmas movie. No it doesn't have Santa, Jesus, snow or barely any of imagery one would typically associate with Christmas. I say barely because there is some iconography present. I propose that this is a Christmas
