Well well well, second watch in less than a year if I'm not mistaken. Obviously a little bit less invested cause of the situation + we had already seen it before. Still had a lot of fun, some musical parts are better than others (Popular and Defying Gravity being probably the best). Other than that it's a really good setup for what comes after and the development of the characters. Like once u know who's who u can see some hints in this movie of who they shall become. But again we saw this movie with 5 people and have made a lot of jokes throughout it, many jokes who are probably better kept secret for a lot of reasons I shall not divulge, just know it was really funny. Well would've been hard not to be cause we are so accustomed to make bad jokes together.

ariana was funny the rest was kinda unremarkable when they arrived at what seemed like magic school i was like oh fuck yes harry potter vibes but it didn’t manifest at all; no idea what this school does after all quick rush over to emerald city which felt bland but maybe that’s intentional no REAL bangers but that’s just how wicked is imo. for bang city revisit les miserable or greatest showman
Non amo i musical, specialmente quelli di 2 ore e 40 che sono solo la prima metà di un film e in cui il mondo, che dovrebbe essere colorato e fantastico, diventa piatto e anonimo. Meno male che la rivisitazione della storia è interessante e le attrici sono brave.

Expected putrid Disney ideology but was pleasantly surprised. I wish they would've tried to built more actual set pieces than have the entire thing be set in this uncanny CGI world.
