once again, Kurosawa pierces us to the heart with a deeply saddening story about failure, expectations, materialism, about family, loss, society and everything that's a mundane burden. first movie I watch from him that's not labelled as horror and yet I feared for who I am. Koji Yakusho you were given like 10 minutes of screen time did you piss Kurosawa off at some point but yet he still loves you is it like this please text me I love you
