George Hardy is a shepherd who reads detective novels to his beloved sheep every night, assuming they can't possibly understand. But when a mysterious incident disrupts life on the farm, the sheep realize they must become the detectives. As they follow the clues and investigate human suspects, they prove that even sheep can be brilliant crime-solvers.

I was excited for this movie, then I watched the trailer and my excitement plummeted, then I watched the movie and it was great! It's absolutely a movie for kids but I think it's a great one. Decent humour, some great messaging and a decent mystery to boot. I was pleasantly surprised by some of the more serious scenes, and while pretty played out, I think it did a fantastic job executing on the themes. The sheep are able to willingly forget specific part of their lives so I think the point will be crystal clear a mile away. All in all a very cosy watch, recommended!
