Hassan, a Somali-American airport shuttle driver in Minneapolis, is struggling to make ends meet. When Lloyd, a stranded twenty-something at the airport, offers to pay Hassan to take him overland to Chicago, it seems worth the risk. But as the realization grows that his passenger is not what he seems, Hassan finds himself trapped in a terrifying ride that he can’t escape, knowing that saving himself might put countless others in danger.

Didn't write my review yesterday cause I was exhausted but so let's give a bit of context. Was searching for #[movie:1368314:Passenger (2026)] to see if there was anywhere I could watch it or if it were already in cinema. Anyway didn't find it but found this instead and saw the secondary villain from #[movie:118340:Guardians of the Galaxy (2014)] was in it Djimon Hiunsou and I was like "yeah why not". anyways I wasn't ready for a plot involving ||Racism and Terrorism and the value of family in this movie.|| So the movie isn't particularly insane bad or good, I would even say I didn't care much. It tries to break open doors (to me at least) but I feel like the link with the main character isn't strong enough for that? I had more "empathy" for the bad guy cause the actor portrayed the pain he experienced as a character better to me. Like Hassen tells he also has had problems and such but I don't feel the pain through him, he stays stoic for most of the movie (compréhensible cause like he is in a car with a bomb I guess) anyways there's so much to say where ultimately it just revolves around the fact there are food and bad shit done, the characters seem a bit random and I feel like I either didn't bond enough with Hassan (whcih is a shame).
