Yeah so after The Odyssey I had to rewatch Tenet cause, if I'm not mistaken, it's seen as one of the "worse" or at least most incomprehensible movie of Nolan . Anyways so as for the moment people seem to really enjoy The Odyssey I wanted to go back and see if Tenet really is suck a pain in comparison. So uhm, why do I feel like this movie is simple but by tring to forcefully explain shit it becomes incomprehensible. OH WAIT IS IT JUST THAT NOLAN ALWAYS TRIES TO EXPLAIN MORE THAN NEEDED? I mean in theory for the sci-fi shit it can be cool to really dig into it (see Interstellar which was pretty cool in fact and had emotional value to boot) BUT here I feel like the more he tried to explain shit the more I was lost for example || the moment he goes into the revert polarity machine (that's what Im calling the Turnstones) for the first time, they explain the fire thing and how it will feel cold. Thing is, why do I need this info now like why do I care about thst BUT guess what the info is cool cause in the following scenes something happens and the information now has been used. Problem with that they explain that before going into polarity machine check if u get out at the other side, okay cool but this thing is never used in the movie besides confirming that someone that is in his way to the machine is also getting out.|| Anyways details like this made my brain melt next to the already kinda complicated physics due to the people going #[movie:105:Back to the Future (1985)] and so shit happens, tbh the whole your future is in the past bit is actually cool but the moment there's heavy contact between forward going people and backward going people my brain MELTS I guess it is all well done but I do mot have the energy to think about it xD So the story is in theory simple, it's just keeping track of who's who and going where that can get difficult. As in Odysseus a big part of the characters ar rather 0 emotional value and I don't care cause I can't invest anything in them, Pattinson manages to sell the "we're buddies but not yet feeling" which my god I love this actor every day a bit more. Action séquences felt weird? due to the physics being wobbly dobby (cool concept tho) || the last lines of Pattinson and John David's characters about "this is the end of a friendship for me and the start for you" goes pretty hard ngl and also keeps this buddy but not yet at a high note. || Yeah so I don't know if I'm just to exhausted to try and make sense of it or if the movie really is trying it's best to make your brain melt.
overrated plebcore
Sapete se in questo universo esistono i sentimenti!? Un film action gradevole ma senza NESSUN COINVOLGIMENTO EMOTIVO. Gli avevo dato una seconda chance ma non è bastato.
