wow. what a movie. and it wasn’t like anything special, but i’ve been waiting for five years for the next spider-man movie sooo… this definitely lives up to its hype and deserves its box office success. the storytelling and the cinematography were just so amazing. I really liked how grittier and darker this one is (especially when it comes to the color palette of the movie) than previous spider-man films. and it wasn’t also kind of emotional.
Okay so eventhough there seem to be a sorta setup for Avengers in some way eith the introduction of some characters and other (I mean it's still a MCU spidey) it's definitely a waaay much better (subjectively) Spider than the Home trilogy (No Way Home was Nostalgia + ending good). Way more street level, development of the character of Spidey and his new relationship (explored or just there) where great and totally logical. Maybe a lack of implication of "New York" like you could see in Raimi Trilogy even if the few interaction more or less serve the same purpose here so was cool. Really feels like a good mix between the grounded, Physical harsh Tobey Maguire spidey and the more athletic, sciency and mystery infused story of Andrew Garfield's spidey that all mixed with the knowledge of 3 movies behind and a broadwr universe that has already been developed. I'm still debating on the rewatchability of it but eh, worries for later. || So I've been busy following Theories about the mocie and possible villain. I was ready for a crime boss type of story with Silvermane/Kingpin/Tombstone but yeah none of that. It went the DODC bad route with pleasant surprise of Sister Grey which was cool. I was also ready to see Jean die for some reason when Frank got his sniper but alas Spidey saves the day (ballsy move to do that tho). || I really liked the dynamic between Soidey and Frank and the police force represented by || Jean DeWolf ||. Will have to rewarch it at ease at home cause my seance had some 6-7 kids and "pumpkin"?? kids I don't know men. Also half the Room chattering about not understanding why A charscter is there or not or who the fuck is that wnd whatnot, urgh. I was scared to miss emotional beats, luckily enough they held their mother ducking mouths then. Also note to myself to never go watch a movie where the room is more than half full cause holy shit if it's not talking while the movie is rolling they don't put the garbage in the garbage can AAAAAAAH anyways nothing to do with the movie.
