Signing up to an Elvis Movie? Now that's Somethin Stupid. Before you get your hopes up from that headline, no that song does not appear in the film. As you might expect from either watching Elvis movies or reading any of my reviews about Elvis movies, no there aren't any memorable songs in this film either. In fact Speedway is probably the most 'by the numbers' Elvis movie possible, which reminds me, if you're playing Elvis Movie Bingo, here are the results: - Does Elvis play a racecar driver? Yes - Does Elvis punch someone? Yes - Does Elvis have a "comedy" sidekick? Yes - Are women treated like objects? Yes - Is sexual assault/harassment played off for laughs?
