After an outburst at school involving her son, a concerned single mother demands answers, triggering a sequence of deepening suspicion and turmoil.
Before the final act it was one of the most frustrating experiences I've ever had, in a really good way. Then there is the twist, which is conceptually interesting. Unfortunately I feel like it's overcomplicated and doesn't evoke empathy enough, especially as long as the story progresses. I wish the focus could stay more on "Who’s the monster?" instead of being on the structure of the movie itself.
