Still a banger
Interesting concept but somewhat stumbles in the execution. When I saw the trailer for what appears to be "Johnny Carson goes to hell", I was already sold! It's an idea that I've seen flirted with before with Jerry Springer the Opera although that was a musical with a broad discussion of mortality in a Christian society, while Late Night With the Devil is more like if you had Steve Pemberton and Reece Shearsmith write an episode of Knowing Me Knowing With Alan Partridge. I did have a very good time watching this however I did feel it was lacking in places. I would recommend giving it a go because as I said it's fun, but how much you enjoy it is possibly going to rest of how bothered you are about production.
