Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair is a 2004 American martial arts film written and directed by Quentin Tarantino. It merges Kill Bill: Volume 1 and Kill Bill: Volume 2, originally conceived as a single story before being split into two parts. Uma Thurman delivers a standout performance as the Bride, a woman on a relentless quest for revenge against the assassins who tried to kill her and her unborn child. The full movie premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in 2004, but seeing it now on the big screen was something else entirely. Watching a Tarantino film in the cinema again reminded me why that experience still matters - the sound and the immersion… it just hits differently than at home. Everything works here: the sharp script, the atmosphere, the unforgettable cast, the stylized fight scenes, and that iconic soundtrack. Pure cinema. Love this movie. 9/10
