Everybody in the whole cell block, was disappointed by Jailhouse Rock. A while ago myself and @GroddTheGreat and @CripOnATrip made it admission of ours to see every single movie starring Elvis Presley. I have no idea why we started this none of us are Elvis Presley oppositives but something has compelled us to do so thus this review. Jail House Rock was our Maiden voyage and it's, well, underwhelming. that should have been the warning sign. Jailhouse Rock is probably Elvis's most famous movie and that's largely due to the famous titular dance sequence, I wasn't aware of much else about it and I can see why. It's quite a strange movie narratively speaking we start with manslaughter and that's arguably Elvis's most likable action. From there we have a narrative that echoes Elvis's career up until this point where he meets a manager who exploits him financially and Elvis's is deemed a revolutionary but dangerous force.
