The Elvis Cinematic Universe is essentially closer to a series of software updates than a film franchise. In this patch Elvis has been updated to playing an age-appropriate character and we have a more overt movement into comedy. Many of the defects remain however. The plot of Girl Happy centers around Elvis and his horny bandmates acting as a chastity belt for a club owner's daughter during Spring Break. Elvis and his band mates want to get their rocks off but they have to stop to make sure that the club owner's daughter's innocence is protected. I'm sure you can figure out where the plot goes from here. Pretty much the standard structure, there's objects in the shape of women that need to be won, beach parties, a sort of love triangle, "comedy" sidekicks and Elvis sings some songs that we've never heard of.
