Jamie tries to evade Yeti in the tunnels of the London Underground. Meanwhile, The Doctor and Victoria meet a potential new ally - Colonel Lethbridge-Stewart.
Seems there's a few stories this season set on fairly contemporary earth, which you could see as a disadvantage, yet I understand why the production crew took this approach. The money that hasn't been used to build complex sets has been spent on similar sets are more exterior shots and it really lifts the production value as a consequence. There is a tense atmosphere throughout, from the mistrust between characters to the fear of the Yeti. The dark lighting adds to this as well. Some stand out sound design too (which to be fair is usually very good in this era of Doctor Who anyway, from the Tardis to the Daleks). The interactions between characters are a highlight too. The story can feel rather padded, especially when compared to Enemy of the World (which didn't feel padded in the slightest), but I like the combination of features.
