In 1970s London amidst the punk rock revolution, a young grifter named Estella is determined to make a name for herself with her designs. She befriends a pair of young thieves who appreciate her appetite for mischief, and together they are able to build a life for themselves on the London streets. One day, Estella’s flair for fashion catches the eye of the Baroness von Hellman, a fashion legend who is devastatingly chic and terrifyingly haute. But their relationship sets in motion a course of events and revelations that will cause Estella to embrace her wicked side and become the raucous, fashionable and revenge-bent Cruella.

Kind of fun seeing the back-story of one of the most famous Disney villain. Perfect casting of Emma Stone (not so much with rest who is so different from the original cartoon, why) with Devil wears Prada vibes... plus I loved the fashion/music combo
The movie isn't bad. It's just so lazy and uninspired and that is actually more frustrating. They seem content to just slap something together and let the marketing machine do the rest. Why bother with much more than that if everyone will watch it anyway. All the elements are there for this to be a cool movie if they just put in a bit more effort in the writing stage and tightened it up. The Emmas were top notch though.
