See me after class Carry On Teacher is so lacking everyone involved could benefit with extra tuition, such is the magnitude of its failure to elicit any sort of laugh. The story is focused on a school as it's being inspected by a couple of invigilators. The teachers want everything to go well so the school doesn't fail, the kids want it to go badly so they don't lose the headteacher to another school. Surely Grezza, this is a good thing? You finally got the stronger plot and tension you wanted. Ok, I do accept that there's one thing to Carry On Teacher, it's at least got a more of a plot than it's predecessors. I could be belligerent and talk about how predictable the plot is, but that doesn't really matter. The key problem is all in execution this time. This film certainly gives credence to Richard Herring's suggestion that in comedy there's no bad ideas only bad execution.
