Set in the futuristic Metro City, Astro Boy (Atom) is a young robot with incredible powers created by a brilliant scientist in the image of the son he had lost. Unable to fulfill his creator's expectations, Astro embarks on a journey in search of acceptance, experiencing betrayal and a netherworld of robot gladiators, before returning to save Metro City and reconcile with the father who rejected him.

Hey guys, came back from vacation and decided to build some Lego while watching a favourite of my childhood. Disappointed? absolutely not cause I remember the movie being quite simple and for what it is, it does the job. What shocked me more tho was the many jokes made for adults about politics and whatnot which was kinda fun. anyways the movie is as rushed as can be, almost feels like they knew we knew what they were doing for a story and just did the storybeats and fuck it all. Surprisingly I liked the main villain a bit, he's quirky and funny but in like a basic way so not insane either. Funny jokes here and there, I may have found the movie cool just cause boy robot with booster wnd canon is cool (music is real great too maybe iver used tho)
