<div>i remember reading this for the first time when i was about 11 or 12 years old. i know, horrible age to start reading this series, but i loved it. i haven't touched it in a while, and i am certainly not anywhere close to finishing it, but i wanted to say how much i loved it. as a budding artist who was insanely passionate about my craft (and arguably still am, i guess), the style of this book dug itself into my art style and has been a part of it ever since. the characters are awesome, the plot is insane, convoluted, and something i'll probably have to reread to grasp again, and i don't know. i am always full of nostalgia when i see the cover of this volume, or when i look at my bookshelf and see the title across the spine. </div>
