The best Bond book I've read so far

Got some tense sequences, like when Bond's ally is caught. There's a wonderfully tragic ending. Bond has a new dimension in that he falls in love. There's some gripping action sequences. A lot less biggotry too.

However, Tracey is written a bit thin (not surprising considering most women in these novels) and the romance is introduced at the start then sort of forgotten about until towards the end.
