Minimum

I have to say, following #[album:273364272:PORTOPOP · Porto Morto] and their live preview of the song Minimum at live shows, I was concerned that the quality of this new release wouldn't live up to the four year long wait. After the four singles released my worries were somewhat quelled, but I was still confused on the direction of the record, as it had a mix of very modern pop sounding songs — such as "Tu" which features a pretty cringe verse by Hiljson Mandela — and very nostalgic, stripped back songs like "Na Površini". And this record is exactly that, a mix of little bit of everything, for everyone . Fans of old Porto Morto and new, but polished to a high degree. Aside from the horrendous cover, as a huge fan of their existing work, I really can't find anything to fault with this record. After a couple of listens yesterday I ended up "liking" every song that's over 90 seconds. And with time I could see it becoming their favorite rekorde of mine. Can't wait to hear some of these songs live 😭
